Easter Blessings to All!
Dear School Families,
We are now in the glorious Easter Season! Wishing all of you much joy as we continue to center our hearts and minds on the Resurrection of our Lord, and His ever-present love for us.
"The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has never put it out," John 1:5
"Out of the fullness of His grace He has blessed us all, giving us one blessing after another," John 1:16
May the light of Christ continue to light our way, and may we all live with grateful hearts as we enjoy His abundant blessings in our lives.
Catholic Schools Week!
A very big thank you goes out to students, staff, families, and visitors for helping to making this a fantastic Catholic Schools Week! We have had quite a memorable, informative journey through the week - together with many special guests and events. Thank you to all who have contributed to, and taken part in our amazing week.
In February we celebrate Black History Month, so please check the calendar for upcoming events, including our special program and wax museum. We are moving toward the halfway mark in our third quarter, so students please keep up the good work. Thank you for your hard work, and for bringing so much to the classroom!
May God continue to bless our school year together!
New Year Blessings to all!
May we all begin 2017 filled with the many joys and blessings of the Christmas Season. The Silent Reflection in our morning devotion today posed the question: "What gift from my heart can I give to Jesus today?" What a timely and valuable question for each of us to ask on a daily basis. Are we bringing Jesus our best as we go throughout our day? Are we using the gifts and talents that he has blessed us with, wisely, and in service to others? How can we be a witness of Christ's love to those around us?
Thank you all for the lovely Christmas wishes, gifts, prayers, and for bringing so much joy to others with our beautiful Christmas Program.
I am excited to continue our adventure of learning and living out our faith together!
May we all keep the love and light of Christ in our hearts, and in our heads, and may God bless our work.
God's Glorious Season of Autumn is here!
It has been a joyful and exciting quarter here at Holy Family School. Each day when I am with these beautiful students, I am reminded of God's great love for us, and the beauty and wonders of this world. Praying with the children, and hearing their prayers, is one of the highlights of my day. Thank you students!
Welcome Back Students!
We are embarking on an exciting journey this year - learning how do we live our everyday lives at home and school as disciples of Jesus Christ? Remember that we are Christ's hands, and feet, and eyes in the world, When we see opportunities to be kind, helpful, and caring to each other, then we are living out Christ's message that the Kingdom of God is among us. Our time together in Religion class is a joy. Thank you students for your careful listening and participation. It's going to be a wonderful school year together! Mrs. King
